RAG Week
There was a lot on during RAG Week with €2,200 raised for the VDP. Read all about it here.
RAG Week kicked off with a coin trail across Front Square beginning at Front Arch. It was pretty cold for the volunteers, but the bemused looks from tourists who didn't really get what was going on made up for that. Assassin also got under way on Monday afternoon and lasted throughout the week.
A Photo Scavenger Hunt in association with DU Amnesty took place on Tuesday, with participants given a list of clues leading to destinations across campus where they had to take photos, with prizes for the winners.
Wednesday saw over 70 volunteers head out all over town with collecting buckets to raise money. And there was a jazz concert in the Pav on Wednesday evening.
The VDP organised a football tournament in the sports hall on Thursday afternoon, while the Sci Fi Soc ran their annual Iron Stomach competition in Front Square with a Strip Auction taking place in the Pav that evening.
