This involves teaching some fun and basic dance routines to children in an inner city primary school. Styles we tried out last year included ballet, jazz, hiphop, salsa and Irish dancing, so there was something for everyone.
The children are always enthusiastic and make fantastic progress. We hope to showcase all their hard work at an end of year performance. If you have some dance experience it is a great way to pass on what you have learned to children who otherwise may not have the opportunity. However experience is not necessary to volunteer. We can always use an extra pair of feet and you may even pick up some moves while you’re there!
