Flat Decorating involves going into the home of an elderly or poor person and simply redecorating it. This usually involves giving the walls, ceiling and skirting boards a lick of paint and a bit of a tidy. It’s
simple, not too demanding and, don’t worry, there’s no DIY skills needed. Even though this small refurbishment doesn’t seem like much, it makes such a huge difference to a person’s home and the appreciation received is amazing. It’s brilliant for those of you who have a busy schedule during the week or just have a free weekend and want to help out. It’s also a great way to meet some good people and it’s lots of fun (especially since there is paint involved!). Hanging around with friends while doing something charitable, what more do you want?
